  1. Hi Vik , Great work !

I understand that you have helped many attending your Collaboration bootcamp.

What would you advice to those who can not attend to your class but willing to go for self study program.

    Regards,
    Hari

    1. Hari,

It is imperative to have a plan that allows you to practice lab tasks contained within a self-study program. You must backup the knowledge you gain in video’s and workbooks with hands-on execution of lab tasks. That doesn’t mean to say you build an entire lab- having a server running some virtual machines and a few of the cheaper gateways combined with some phones (7965 / 9971) will go a long way. Use rack rental for a full scale lab environment as you get nearer to your lab date.

One of the advantages of a live class is the number of hours you get to practice on the real equipment that is used in the test. Our bootcamp students who stay for 2 weeks get 14 days rack time which adds up to approximately 140 hours hands-on. This needs to be mirrored if you are relying on self-study alone.
