Topology Updates for CCIE Collab v3

Jut a quick update to the CollabCert topology- we’ve added a few extra Virtual Machines / appliances to take into account High Availability of IMP, CUC’n, CCX and Expressway. Take a look at this video for more details.

We have our first online class starting on Monday Sept 14 2020. We will cover all the new topics that are going to be relevant for the exam- contact us if you have any interesting in joining us.

Collab v3 Schedule Updates

It’s been a while since we provided any updates regarding our bootcamp schedule and for this we sincerely apologize – we haven’t had much certainty about anything so far in 2020!

We, like everybody else, have our fingers crossed that Cisco Testing Centers can open up sooner rather than later and have definitely received a small boost when it was announced that the Brussels and Beijing centers were opening up on Sept 1 2020. To keep track of these updates provided by Learning at Cisco you can check out this link here. As you can see Hong Kong, Sydney and Tokyo should be next up and we have to wait and see with regards to India, UAE and USA. It is also worth noting that Mobile Testing Centers will most likely not be opening before the end of the Calendar year 2020.

After consulting many of our customers we have decided to offer 3 weeks of bootcamps for the remainder of 2020 and will determine a 2021 schedule towards the end of this year. We are eager to get going an help folks get certified!

The final 2020 schedule for CollabCert’s CCIE classes is as follows:

  • Sept 14-18 2020: CollabCert ILT (San Jose or online)
  • Dec  7-11  2020: CollabCert ILT (San Jose or online)
  • Dec 14-18 2020: CollabCert Workshop (San Jose or online)

Given the Santa Clara county health officer order we can have no more than 5 attendees in the classroom (maximum 6 people counting for the instructor). This ensures that there will be 250 gross square feet per person. You will be asked to wear a mask any time you leave your desk. Otherwise you are able to attend remotely via Webex.

If you were interested in attending then we can give you more details on the class including measures we are taking if you wanted to attend in person- please send us an email for further more info.

We have plenty more updates coming up over the next few days regarding what we have been doing behind the scenes including topology updates.

Hope everybody stays safe and well.

CCIE Collab Version 3 Webinar Replay

For those of you who missed the webinar on Friday May 8 2020.

Cisco closes all Testing Centers

Cisco have announced that all CCIE testing centers will be closed from March 16 2020. They will review the COVID-19 situation on a week by week basis. The upgrades to the CCIE blueprints will go ahead as planned on April 27 2020. Folks with an existing lab date will be given a voucher but if they cannot open before April 27 then it will not be possible to sit the existing versions of the tests.

We have an online class scheduled at the end of March- we will review the situation but this may be cancelled if nothing has changed with the Cisco testing centers.

CollabV2 Successes and Last Chance Saloon Bootcamp

It’s been a while since out last “success” post but the team at CollabCert would like to belatedly congratulate our most recent group of successful CCIE Collaboration engineers who passed on the version 2 lab exam. Best of luck in your careers.

If you want to join this list then we recommend you sign up with CollabCert. We have added two 3-day classes (online); one in Feb 2020 and one March 2020. You are ideally suited for this is if (a) you have a version 2 lab date in the diary between now and April 27 2020 and (b) you have already sat the lab exam and did not succeed. During these 3 days we will go over finer details of the configuration, troubleshooting and diagnostic sections of the exam and offer grading/assessment with necessary tweaks and adjustments.

“I was almost losing hope to achieve the CCIE Collaboration status when I heard about CollabCert, and after watching a webinar I felt that I would be in good hands with Vik and CollabCert.
I couldn’t be more right about that, and with a few months of an almost daily basis dedication, I passed the lab exam on first try!

I started the journey with LMS which gave me a solid skillset, built my own lab at home and started practicing almost every day. The videos provided alongside with explained exercises is exactly what you need to gain confidence.

With the bootcamp you get to notice what are your weaknesses and how to pay attention to more specific details, that could make a difference in the lab exam. Vik was fundamental on this, with his deep knowledge of the Cisco UC world.

Once again, I would like to thank Vik for guiding me through the CCIE journey and would definitely recommend CollabCert for those seeking the CCIE Collaboration status.”

Andre Fernandes – CCIE #62465

If you want to pass the version 2 attend one of our bootcamps to maximize your chances of success.
